Robert Tackacs

TAKACS, Robert Joseph - Age 39, of Mt. Morris, formerly of Flushing, died Thursday, May 4, 2017. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Robert was born December 22, 1977 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Joseph and Jean Marie (O'Mara) Takacs. He graduated from Flushing High School in 1996 and the University Of Michigan in 2010. At a young age he had a passion for wrestling and baseball. Robert had a kind heart, but was a man of few words. He traveled the world enjoying hiking, painting, reading and writing. Surviving are: mother Jean Marie (Omara) Takacs of Mt. Morris; sisters, Shannon Lanphear of Swartz Creek, Jean (Jason) Carver of Maryland; nieces and nephews, Justine Lanphear, Trenton Carver, Casey Carver, Colin Carver and Vance Carver. Robert is also survived by his wife, Sylvia of North Carolina; close friend, Gavin Morales. He will be missed and always loved.
