Robert Storrs

STORRS, Robert Clifford- Age 74, of Flint, died Friday, July 18, 2008 at University Hospitals, Ann Arbor. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. A luncheon will be held immediately following at the Grand Blanc Masonic Lodge, 522 Grand Blanc Road, Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Robert was born November 29, 1933 in Clio, the son of George B. and Grace Marie (Brady) Storrs. He was a 1951 graduate of Clio High School, and a veteran of the Korean War during 1956 - 1958. Robert married Eldonna Fouts February 28, 1959. He resided in the Flint area during his lifetime. He retired from AC Spark Plug in 1982 after 30 years of service. During the past 20 years he was employed as a courier at Cosmetic Dental Lab. Bob was a baseball coach for 18 years and had many happy memories with Bokor Pharmacy teams. He also was an avid bowler and mentor to many young people. Surviving are: wife, Eldonna; son, Lance Storrs of Genesee; 2 brothers, Eldon B. and wife Judy Storrs of Saginaw and Theodore J. and wife Linda Storrs of Flint; sister-in-law, Jacqueline Storrs of Saginaw; many nieces, nephews and special friends.
