Robert Horst SIPPERT

SIPPERT, Robert Horst -- Age 63, of Flint, died June 13, 2012 at the Ann Arbor VA Hospital. Funeral Services will be held 12:30 PM Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Waldemar Makus officiating. Interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday and 11:00 AM Thursday until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Christian Unity Press, P.O. Box 527, York, NE 68467. Robert was born June 12, 1949 in Germany the son of Reinhold and Olga (Schmalz) Sippert. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Surviving are: sister Heidi and husband Samuel Fendert of Swartz Creek; brother Harry and wife Mary Sippert of Swartz Creek; six nieces and nephews. Siegbert and wife Cheri Fendert, Ronald and wife Janet Fendert, Gordon Fendert, June and husband Glen Berndt, Debbie Sippert, Brian and wife Jessica Sippert; two great-nieces Madison Fendert and Maya Sippert. The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Karen and Dr. Julie at the Ann Arbor VA Hospital, his friend JoAnne, and his neighbor Ester. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Kurt.
