Robert Sheick

SHEICK, Robert "Bob" Earl - Age 80, of Flint Township, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020. Public visitation will take place from 4 PM to 8 PM, Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Private funeral service will take place with burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Bob was born on October 18, 1940, in West Branch, the son of Lionel and Evelyn (Hager) Sheick. He graduated from Utley High School. Bob worked for GM as a Pipe Fitter for 36 years before his retirement. He and Joanne Rush were united in marriage on April 28, 1962 in Flint. Bob was a member of the West Flint Church of the Nazarene. He loved spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, camping and woodworking. He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne Sheick; children, Tracy (Brian) Coates and Michael (Christina) Sheick; 6 grandchildren, Brandy, Amanda (Shane), Lyndsi (Jacob), Brandon (Rebecca), Trenton (Alexis) and A.J.; 6 great-grandchildren, Sawyer Lynn, Kolton, Mariah, Elysia, Adalyn and Nicklas; sister, Martha Ward; and 3 brothers, Donald Sheick, Vernon (Ida) Sheick and Gerald (Margaret) Sheick.
