ALEXANDER, Robert Roy - Age 82, of Swartz Creek, passed away June 6, 2024. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Wednesday. Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to South Mundy Methodist Church General Fund. Bob was born November 26, 1941 in Mundy Twp., to John and Rhesa (Spillane) Alexander. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Bob was a mail carrier and retired from the US Postal Service. Bob had many friends from walking in the mall, playing Euchre in several towns in the area and from many lunches and dinners. He is survived by 2 brothers and 4 sisters, John and JoAnn Alexander, Ted Alexander, Viola Hobolth, Rose Carnes, Rhesa and Tom Watrous, Judy and Jerry Parsons; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Helen Alexander and Ruth Smith; brother, Eugene Alexander. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
