Robert R. ROUTHIER, Sr.

ROUTHIER, Robert R. Sr. , Age 72, of Swartz Creek, died, May 20, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. Visitation will be held Monday, May 24, 2010 at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service and Eulogy at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Internment will follow at 2:30 PM Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Robert was born August 21, 1937 in Flint, the son of Rudolph Eugene and Lillian Florida (Desaulnier) Routhier. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He married Jeanette Louise Griffin September 2, 1988 in Mt. Morris. Robert retired from GM as a Manufacturing Engineer after 30 years of service. He was an avid bowler, fisherman, golfer and antique collector. Robert had recently been inducted into the Flint Bowlers Hall of Fame. Surviving are: wife, Jeanette Louise; son, Bob Routhier, Jr. of Clio; daughter, Theresa and husband Richard Rockwell of Prescott; step-daughter, Bethany and husband Zach Chandler of Emmett; step-son, Aaron and wife Angela Viola of Marine City; 7 grandchildren, Robert Routhier III, Tyler Rockwell, Samantha, Victoria and Nikita Chandler and Avery and Isaiah Viola.
