Robert Keith Richardson

RICHARDSON, Robert K. "Link" - Age 76, of Burton, passed away Monday, September 12, 2011. Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to McLaren Cancer Fund. Link was born April 30, 1935 in Flint, the son of John E. and Emma B. (Coates) Richardson. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Air Force. He married Sammie Marie Cole September 1, 1956 in Bosque Farms, NM. Link retired from GM Chevrolet Manufacturing after 30 years of service. He loved fishing and hunting. He was a great husband, father and friend. Link left a wonderful legacy and will be greatly missed. Surviving are: His wife of 55 years, Sammie; 3 children, Keith (Suzanne) Richardson of Burton, Rhodora (Greg) Brandon of Flint and Kerry (Jack) Bayes of Texas; 5 grandchildren, Katie, Mollie, Emily, Jacklyn and Megan; brother, Gary Richardson of Alaska.
