RANTA, Robert William, Jr. - Age 35, of Fenton, died Saturday, June 12, 2010. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, G 7234 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, with Pastor Will Stenke officiating. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and at church Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Robert was born October 5, 1974 in Flint, the son of Robert William, Sr. and Patricia Gail (Pieper) Ranta. He had resided in Fenton his entire life. He was a 1991 graduate of Lake Fenton High School and then attended and graduated from Motorcycle Maintenance Institute in Orlando, FL. Robert was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church. Surviving are: much loved daughter, Haley Ranta; parents, Robert and Patricia Ranta of Fenton; sister, Anne Martin of Fenton.
