Robert Edgar Parr

PARR, Robert Edgar - Age 79, of Fenton, died Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held 3-8PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Association for Prevention of Blindness. Robert was born Janaury 20, 1928 in Detroit, the son of William and Loretta (Goyen) Parr. He was a graduate of Fordson High School in Dearborn and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving in WWII. He was married to Veronia "Vern" Fital on April 28, 1949 in Bowling Green, OH. Mr. Parr was employed by Howell Public Schools for 20 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Fenton Moose Lodge #430, AARP, Fenton American Legion and Loose Senior Center. Surviving are: wife, Veronica; son William "Bill" Parr of Fenton; sister, Marilyn and husband Charles Cook of Petoskey and Arizona; sister-in-law, Helen Fital of Fenton; many nieces and nephews.
