Robert Ross "Rob" "Sparky" Palmer

Rob was born September 10, 1956 in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada the son of Ross Robert and Anna Margaret (Jamieson) Palmer.  He was a graduate of Don Mills Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and he receive an BBA/MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where he had a scholarship to play hockey.  He married Giselle Agergaard June 7, 1986 in Los Angeles, CA.  He had resided in Howell for the past 27 years.  Rob played professional hockey for the Los Angeles Kings and the New Jersey Devils.  He retired from ZF North America, Inc. as a Financial Manager.  He was a member of the University of Michigan Hockey Alumni.  

Surviving are: his wife, Giselle; sons, Jack Palmer and Henry Palmer both of Waterford; sister, Margaret "Marg" (Tom) Davidson of British Columbia, Canada; nieces, Anna and Emily; stepmother, Mary Palmer of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada; and stepbrother, Hisham (Chrissy) Al-Gharabally of St. Clair; and nephews, Gabe and Ben.
