Robert Steven Ocenasek

OCENASEK, Robert Steven  Age 52, of Clio, died Saturday, December 6, 2003 at Hurley Medical Center.  Services will be held 1 pm Thursday, December 11, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, with Pastor Carl Petty officiating.  Visitation will be held 6  8 pm Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home.  Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Heritage Baptist Church, Grand Blanc.  Robert was born March 26, 1951, in Durand, the son of Nicholas Joseph and Mary Margaret (Peever) Ocenasek.  He was a machine operator for Grand Trunk Railroad for 22 years and was a member of the BMWE Union.  Robert enjoyed camping with his truck and picking tomatoes.  Surviving are:  four children, Bobbi and husband, Jeffrey Duncan of New Lothrop, Sunshine Alexander and friend, Scott Ruziecki of Flint, Crystal and husband, Tyran Battles of OK, Tulsa Ocenasek of CA; nine grandchildren, Tabbitha, Justin, Hannah, Hailee, Michael, Jasmine, Isabella, Tyran, and Daniel; mother Mary Margaret Ocenasek of Fenton; six siblings, David (Diane) of Higgins Lake, John (Nancy) of Swartz Creek, Stephanie (Richard) Brown of Fenton, Stephen (Ellen) of Durand, Anthony (Patricia) of Swartz Creek, Margaret (Terry) Proffitt of Flint; several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by:  his father and nephew, Nicholas Ocenasek.  Friends may share their online condolences with the family at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
