NISBET, Robert Gary "Kroger Bob" - age 77, of Clayton Twp., died October 30, 2023. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Bob was born August 31, 1946 in Flint, the son of Arthur A. and Susan A. (Arthur) Nisbet. He was a 1964 graduate of Flint Central High School and received a Bachelors in Industrial Administration from GMI (now Kettering University). Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during Vietnam. He retired from General Motors in 2009 as a General Foreman in Maintenance after 40 years of service and then worked for Kroger for 10 years. Bob married Dorothy Jean Lemieux on November 27, 2010. He was a very even keeled, never met a stranger kind of guy and he loved a good joke. Bob loved cards and played thousands of hands of poker, hearts, and spades. He was a NASCAR fan and member of the ATO Fraternity while at GMI. Surviving are: wife, Dorothy Lemieux; three children, Rachel (Andy) McInnis of Depere, WI, Scott (Megan) Nisbet of North Carolina, and Ashley (Lee) Meador of Oregon; two grandchildren, Dylan and Brooklyn; sister, Mary Foust; and many in-laws who loved Bob; life-long friends, Gary White and Bill Vettel as well as all his friends at the Flushing Moose Lodge; faithful companions, Sage, Pepper and Coco. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Joe Foust.
