NICHOLS, Robert Lewis "Bob", age 81, Sunrise December 29, 1929- Sunset July 22, 2011. Funeral Services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Visitation will be Monday 1:00-9:00 p.m. and Tuesday 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the family. Bob was an avid Detroit Tiger Fan, loved reading, crossword puzzles and bowling. He bowled his first 300 game at the age of 70. Bob was loved dearly and will be remembered forever. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Madonna; 12 children, Ellen Strang (Ron), Robert Nichols Jr. (Dee), Richard Nichols (Dianne), Denise Nichols, Dawn Leonard (Tom) Julie Welch (Ed), Janis Blunt, Shelley Simpson (Donald) Wendy O'Brien (John), Stephanie McKinstry (Mike), Lisa Nichols, Janeen Upton; 22 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and snicklebritches-spike.
