NEUMANN, Robert Eugene-- Age 79, of Swartz Creek, passed away Wednesday March 24, 2021, A private family Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E. Bristol Road, Burton (A live stream of the Mass may be viewed on Robert's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Fr. Robert McGraw celebrant. Entombment in the Mausoleum at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. A public visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road Swartz Creek, Monday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM where a Rosary will be prayed at 7PM followed by Knights of Columbus Memorial Services. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, "God Bless the children". Bob was born June 19, 1941 in Flint, the son of Eugene and Jeanne (Bundt) Neumann. He married Cathy Lee Ramberg on December 26, 1992. He was a "Pioneer" of Holy Redeemer School, attended Mott Community College then completed his education at General Motors Institute. Bob was employed at General Motors Parts Division and retired from Genesee County. He was also employed at Sharp Funeral Homes for several years. His hobbies included, Great Lakes boating, collecting cars and most important his family. Through the years Bob served his community on various State, Municipal, charity, social and church boards. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus Council #10170 and 4th degree St. Joseph Assembly #2211. Bob is survived by his wife, Cathy Lee; son Scott; grandchildren, Jessica, Cory, Brittany, Cameron, special grandson, Naaman; great grandchildren, Liam and Jackson; mother in law, Carole Ramberg; sisters and brothers in laws, Ann Marie (Larry) Hunt, Rick (Eileen) Ramberg, Nancy (Mark) Neumann, Cheryl (Greg) Boshaw, Teresa (Kevin) Tobin, Michelle (Jeff) Groesser, David (Patty) Jo Ramberg, Robin Ramberg; many nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sons, Paul and Anthony; parents; sister, Cookie (Charles) Foster, nephew, William, father in law, Gordon and brother in law, Gordon Jr. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
