Robert E. Myers

Myers, Robert E., age 82, of Swartz Creek, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Funeral services will be 12 PM Friday, April 1, 2011 from Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home, and from 10 to 12PM Friday. Robert was born in Flint the son of Thomas and Helen Myers. He lived in Swartz Creek and Flint most of his life. He married Mary Derscha in 1952. Bob served in the US Navy and retired from GM Corporation. Surviving are, his wife Mary, daughter, Lee Ann (Bruce) Dixon of Swartz Creek, sons, Scott (Cathy) Myers of Fenton, Paul (Ann) Myers of Fenton, 7 grandchildren, Drew, Chad, Prescott, Mary, Spencer, Mathew, and Kennedy, and 2 sisters, Joan and Patty.
