MOONEY, Robert James "Bob" - Age 50, of Flint, died Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10AM Saturday, October 27, 2007 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek with Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Children's Miracle Network. Bob was born March 21, 1957 in Flint the son of William J., Sr. and Esther (Lang) Mooney and had been a resident of Flint his entire life. He was a graduate of Carmen High School. Bob was a huge football fan with his favorite team being the Rams. He also enjoyed playing electronic chess. Bob especially loved fishing and camping in the U.P. Surviving are his mother, Esther Mooney of Flint; sister, Deborah and husband Laurier Joncas of Flushing; 2 brothers, William Mooney, Jr. of Mississippi, Michael and wife Elizabeth Mooney of Byron; several nieces and nephews; 2 aunts, Molly Strecha and Lydia Turner both of Fenton. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill in 1991 and niece, Shannon Mooney in 1992.
