McCONNELL, Robert Glenn Mac  Age 72, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date at Eagles Nest Church, 4181 E. Mt. Morris Rd., Mt. Morris, MI. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family or Eagles Nest Church. Mac was born February 15, 1934 in Bloomington, IN. Mac was an auto mechanic for dealerships in the Flint are for 45 years and retired from Chinonis in 1992 after 16 years of service. He built and raced cars at Auto City Speedway for many years. Surviving are: wife, Edna Ruth of Swartz Creek; children, Robert McConnell, Betty Ann Bickell of Flint, Barbara (Thomas) Ginter of Clio, Donna (Matt) Foust of IN, Lawanda (Lewis) Johnson of Flint; 11 grandchildren, Tonia, Sandra, and Danielle Atkinson, Rebecca and Elisabeth Foust, Jonathan and Kaitlyn Dean, Nathan and Shawna Foster, Christopher and Nichole Ginter; four great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Davis; many nieces and nephews; faithful companion, Tribble.
