Matchett, Robert Edward - Age 75, of Burton, died October 27, 2017. No formal service will be held. Visitation will be held 11AM - 2PM Monday October 30 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd, Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to the Old Newsboys Of Flint. Robert was born February 12, 1942 in Flint, the son of Thomas R. and Mary Belle (Pyne) Matchett. He married Donna Gullstrand on February 24, 2007. Robert retired from AC Spark Plug. He was an avid fisherman and bowler. Robert loved the water, playing cards and golf. He always had a Budweiser for anyone who came to visit. Robert is survived by his wife, Donna; brother, Tom (Callie); daughter, Natale (Ryan) White; two sons, James Matchett, Jason Matchett; grandchildren, Ashton Matchett, Landon Matchett, Jerimiah Osterhout, Eleanor White.
