Robert Malew

MALEW, Robert Edward - Age 79, of Swartz Creek, died peacefully Sunday, February 2, 2020. A memorial gathering will take place 1:00 PM, Sunday February 23, 2020, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Bob was born on March 9, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Edward and Dorothy (Ludwig) Malew. He worked as a teacher and principal for many years for Warren Woods Schools. Bob married Janet Schultz in June 1994 in Swartz Creek. He enjoyed working on classic cars, especially his 1955 Chevy. He also liked listening to jazz music and playing the piano.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Schultz; daughter, Laura (Dave) Fox; step-children, Scott (Jennifer) Belveal and Barbara (Mike Brumback) Baker; grandchildren, Dan (Bethany) Fox and Kelly Fox, Leah Baker, Jonnah Baker, Laurel (Zachary) Class, Kyle Belveal and Emma Belveal, great-granddaughter, Chloe Harp; and his sister, Karen (Glenn) Frank.
