Robert E. LYONS

LYONS, Robert E. - age 87, of Fenton, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at his residence. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Friday, January 30, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church of Fenton, 503 S. Leroy St., Fenton with Pastor Dale Swihart officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service at the church. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to First Presbyterian Church of Fenton. Mr. Lyons was born February 17, 1921 in Pontiac and was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. Surviving are: wife, Barbara of Fenton; two daughters Judy (Jerry) Hope of Fenton, Diane (Jeff) French of Grand Rapids; four grandchildren, Tim (Lynette) Bradley, Heather (Mike) Anderson, Matt (Tara) Mehall, Todd (Karissa) Mehall; four great-grandchildren.
