Robert J. LUTTMAN Sr.

LUTTMAN, Robert J. Sr. - Age 81, of Fenton, died Monday, November 14, 2011. Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Chaplain Steve Hittle of Heartland Hospice will officiate. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of service Wednesday. Interment will be 1:30 PM Friday in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute or Heartland Hospice. Robert was born December 31, 1929 in Stockbridge, MI, the son of Virgil and Lena (Kinsey) Luttman. He was married to Shirley Niestroy on September 5, 1955 in Detroit. Mr. Luttman was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. He retired from General Motors in 1989 after 30 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Shirley; children, Lynn Dailey, Robert Jr. (Mary), Cheryl, Gary, Bill, Gerald (Kathy); grandchildren, Jennifer (Shaun) Shumaker, Stacey Dailey, Shane (Nicole) Dailey, Katie Dailey, Kirkley, Michaela, Michelle, Eleanor and Eliza Luttman; great-grandsons, Reid, Sam, Ben, Casey and Brody; sister, Dorothy Belding; brother, Norman (Edith) Luttman; sister, Leona (Carl) Peterman; sister-in-law, Beverly (Ray) Rathbun; nieces and nephews.
