LIDDLE, Robert T., Jr. - Age 71, of Holly, died March 31, 2014 at Genesys Health Park . Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, April 4 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 309 E. Maple St., Holly, Fr. David Blazek celebrant. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Thursday with a 5 PM Scripture service at Sharp Funeral Homes, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton; and then 10 AM until the time of the mass at church on Friday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Bob was born February 8, 1943 in Worth, WV, the son of Robert Tyrus and Virginia Katherine (Honaker) Liddle, Sr. He married Judith Pearson on April 4, 1964. Bob retired from General Motors after 30 years of service and was a painter for 50 years. He was a hard worker and fantastic dad and husband. He loved sports, basketball, baseball, football and most of all golf. He loved all his golf buddies and coached his sons in baseball and basketball for years at Swartz Creek Schools. Bob loved God with all his heart and was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church, his Catholic faith was very important to him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Surviving are: wife, Judy; two sons, Bobby (Jamie) Liddle and Scott (Karie) Liddle; six grandchildren, Aaron, Darius, Braylon, Ciara, Kaylee and Gavin; siblings, Linda (Jerry) Parks, Joann (Larry) Harris, John (Gaye) Liddle, Patricia (Michael) Crane; in-laws, Tom (Joan) Wascha and Joyce Pearson (John Varner); his dog, Mojo and two cats; many nieces and nephews.
