KELLEY, Robert Clair - Age 86, of Otisville, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Per the families request cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the National Rifle Association or Duck's Unlimited Fenton Chapter.
Bob was born December 25, 1933 in Pontiac, the son of Clair V. and Valda L. (Wagner) Kelley. He attended Waterford High School. He served in the U.S. National Guard then the U.S. Army. He married Judy Ann DeLauder March 29, 1958 in Pontiac. He had resided in Otisville for the past 23 years coming from Linden/Lake Fenton. Bob owned and operated Kelley and Son Construction for many years. He was a member of the NRA, was a member and former chairman of Duck's Unlimited Fenton Chapter, and enjoyed his time as Scout Master. His hobbies included duck hunting, woodworking, golfing, bowling, and water skiing. Although duck hunting was his biggest passion, he also loved sharing and teaching the entire family about the wonders of the great outdoors. You can say he was truly a man of nature.
Surviving are: his wife of 62 1/2 years, Judy; 4 children, Deanna (Bill) Faber of Fenton, Michael Kelley of San Antonio, TX, Roxanne Kelley of Fenton, and David (Paricia) Kelley of Tulsa, OK; 3 grandchildren, Jessica (Mikeal) Raymond of Fenton, Meghan (Chris) Jordan of Flint, and Danielle (Zach) Tucker of Fenton; 8 great grandchildren, Landen, Halia, Zoey, Caden, Amelia, Noah, Elliana, and Alden; two step great-grandchildren, Owen and Alex; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Jacqueline Frasure. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
