JOHNSON, Robert L. Â Age 79, of Flint, died Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at his residence. Services will be held 1 PM Saturday, March 13, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery where veterans honors will be performed under the auspices of the Marine Corps League, Flint Detachment. Visitation will be held from 2-5 and 7-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Adopt-A-Pet, Fenton. Mr. Johnson was born April 7, 1924 in Flint, the son of Maynard and Florence (Palmer) Johnson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving during World War II. Mr. Johnson married Donna Lee in 1984. He was an electrician for General Motors for many years retiring in 1989 and was a member of U.A.W. Local #326. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Flushing Gun Club, National Rifle Association and was an avid Detroit Red Wings Fan and U of M Fan. Surviving are: wife, Donna Johnson of Flint; four children, Sandy and husband, Tim Porter, Robert Johnson, all of Roscommon, Steven Moon and wife, Kathy of NC, Jacquelyn and husband, Chet Kozlowski of Flint; four grandchildren, Christian and Ian Moon, Autumn Kirby, Sarah Girard; two great-grandchildren, Seth and Sean Robert Kirby.
