JACKSON, Robert Allen "Bob" - Age 80, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday, September 19, 2021. Services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road, Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (A live stream of the service will be available on Bob's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Bob was born May 17, 1941 in Daytona Beach, FL, the son of John Francis "Jack" and Louise (Merriman) Jackson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Kay Frances McCurdy December 26, 1964 in Flint. He retired in 1998 from GM Flint Truck Assembly after 33 1/2 years of service. Bob was a member of U.A.W. Local 598. He had resided in Swartz Creek since 1999 coming from Flint. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, truck driving, traveling, and telling stories. Surviving are: his wife of 56 years, Kay; daughter, Paulette (Jason) Dover of Swartz Creek; son, Brian (Julie) Jackson of Clio; grandchildren, Bradley (Margaret) Jackson, Brittany (Brian) Hansen, Branden (Raylene) Kerley, Hayden Jackson, and Tyler Jackson; great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Cheyenne, Logan, and Kyle; brother, Jimmy (Catherine) Jackson of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
