Robert Russell 'Bob' HOWE

HOWE, Robert R. (Bob) - Age 80, of Swartz Creek, MI, ended his physical experience on earth Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Brian's House, and proceded on his spiritual journey into the great mystery of the afterlife. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, with Pastor J.D. Landis officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Thursday from 3:30 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Swartz Creek Food Pantry, Brian's House or Genesee County Humane Society. Bob was born September 30, 1929 in Warren, PA, the son of Robert C. and Mildred (Hadley) Howe. He retired from Hunts Ketchup, Fullerton, CA in 1993. He leaves behind; his loving wife of 28 years, Krista (Swartstrom) Howe; children, Aretta (Joy) Howe of Arlington, TX, Alvin and wife Rene of Surprise, AZ, Robert (Bob) and wife Judy of Flint, MI, Robin and friend Kevin of Lexington, KY, Robert DeWayne of Swartz Creek and Nicole of Flint, MI; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Bob was proceded in death by his parents and his wonderful granddaughter, Angel. He was also part of the "village" that guided and loved William Booth for the past 8 years; Bob was a loving and devoted father to all of his children.
