Robert Hood

HOOD, Robert Elba - Age 91, of St. Clair, died November 22, 2018. Services will be held 2:30 PM Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to DAV (Disabled American Veterans). Robert was born February 2, 1927 in Detroit, the son of Elba and Hattie Louise (Schmidt) Hood. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII on the USS McCaffery DD860. He retired from General Motors and was a classic car enthusiast. He is survived by his children, Lynne (Nick) Viaches, Robert (Becky) Hood Jr.; grandchildren, Cameron (Holly) Viaches, Zachary (Melissa) Viaches, Joardan Viaches, Courtney Viaches; Andi Segur and Zachary Segur; great-granddaughter, Olive Viaches.
