Robert Hollway

HOLLWAY, Robert Warrick - Age 86, Grand Blanc formerly of Algonac, died Wednesday November 28, 2018. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Robert was born June 5, 1932 in Pontiac, the son of the late Warrick and Hazel (McCary) Hollway. He married Carol Hazel Chown on June 18, 1955 in Lapeer. Mr. Hollway retired from the Algonac School System as an Assistant Superintendent with 39 years of service. He loved downhill skiing, boating, reading, traveling and spending time with his family, Surviving are: wife of 63 years Carol of Grand Blanc; daughters, Kay Lynn (Noel) Regula of Holland, Lana (Shaun) Denman of Davisburg; grandchildren, Lindsey (Kevin) Opris of Warren, Sara (Steve) Popkie of St. Clair Shores, Elise (Zach) Huber of FL, Kaylee Regula of CO, Connor Denman, Allison Denman, Jacob Denman all of Davisburg. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Ellie and Adelyn Opris, Aiden Huber and Myla Popkie. He was also preceded in death by his son Kim Robert Hollway.
