Robert Leroy HARRIS, Sr.

HARRIS, Robert Leroy Sr., age 73, of Burton, passed away at home. Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, until time of service. Robert was born July 18, 1937 in Burton, the son of Curry Van and Gladys (Balderstone) Harris. He married Beverly Morley on July 18, 1975 in Burton. Robert was employed by Evergreen Cleaners in the service department for 10 years. In his spare time Robert enjoyed working on cars, attending the auction to purchase and later sell the cars. Surviving are, sons, Robert Harris Jr. (Edee); Sidney Harris (Tina); stepsons, Bruce Fielder (Sandy), Craig Fielder (Roni), David Fielder (Lori); 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Van Harris (Wanda), Harold Harris, Polly Dilly, Denny Harris (Janet); and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Beverly on December 6, 2010; daughter, Sherry; sister, Audrey Argue and 2 brothers, Chuck Harris and George "Pee Wee" Harris.
