Robert Clare Halboth, of Frankfort, passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2021 at the age of 94 in Burton, MI. No public services will be held. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly at a later date. He was born on July 4, 1926 in Detroit, MI. Bob grew up loving airplanes along with his father and older brother Harry. He became a certified Army Air Corps pilot and served as an MP during the last months of WWII. He then attended Central Michigan University earning his degree in Economics. There he met his wife of 27 years, Helen Johnson. He worked for National Cash Register (NCR) before beginning a career with Buick Motor Division. He retired from Buick and moved north near Crystal Downs Golf Club in Frankfort where he enjoyed being a member and playing golf for nearly 31 years.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Helen; his son Charles; his grandson Robert Charles; and his only sibling Harry Halboth Jr. Bob leaves behind his son Fremont (Mary Ann) Halboth M.D. of Flint, and daughters Victoria J. Terre of Naples, Mary (Reid) Schwartz of Chicago, and Cynthia (John) Seinar of Oxford as well as ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
