GREEN, Robert E. Â Age 74, of Linden, died Friday, February 25, 2005 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, February 28, 2005 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, Fr. Peter Clark celebrant. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Saturday, 1-3 & 5-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. A scripture service will be held 7:30 PM Sunday. Â Interment will take place at a later date in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation. Robert was born October 25, 1930 in Flint, the son of Earl and Mary (Pinter) Green. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in combat during the Korean War. Mr. Green retired as a supervisor from Buick with 33 years of service. He loved to run, hunt, fish, camp and spend time with his grandchildren. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Riverbend Stryders. He was a beloved husband, father and devoted Papa. Surviving are: wife, Frances; daughter, Robin (Charles) Christenson of Swartz Creek; step-children, Susan (Mark) Plude of Fenton Patricia (Tim) Hughes, Lisa (Henry) Benjamin all of Howell, Noel (Teresa) Byrne of Houston, TX, Rick Dietrich of Sarasota, FL; 19 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Jack (Rose) Green of Flint; numerous nieces and nephews.
