Robert Gould

GOULD, Robert Charles - Age 89, of Swartz Creek, died  Friday April 17, 2020.  A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel,  8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Robert was born September 20, 1930 in Lennon MI, the son of William Manny and Gladys Ellen (Helms) Gould. He married Mary Ellen Hogan in Gaines on November 24, 1955 and she preceded him in death on May 14, 2014. Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was wounded during the Korean War. He retired from Grand Trunk Western Railroad as a division superintendent with 37 years of service. Surviving are: son, Michael T. (Sherry) Gould of Battle Creek; grandsons, Marcus and Connor; nephew, Dennis (Carole) Gould of Swartz Creek; and many nieces and nephews.
