Robert Charles "Rob" Gerholz, Jr.

Rob Gerholz passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, surrounded by those he loved. He was 67 years old.

Rob was born in 1956 in Flint, MI to parents Robert and Barbara Gerholz. He graduated from Albion College in 1978 and worked as a certified property manager for almost 30 years. He was involved in several community organizations. Throughout his career, Rob served as President of the following associations; the Greater Flint Jaycees, the Genesee Landlords Association, and the Institute of Real Estate Management. An advocate for education, Rob was also the President of the Carman-Ainsworth Board of Education from 2003-2005. In his retirement, Rob particularly enjoyed learning about astronomy, fishing, and spending time in the north woods of Wisconsin. 

He is survived by his two children, Lauren (Brian) Nolan and Eric Gerholz, one grandson, Connor Nolan, and his two sisters, Diana (James) Jonske and Julie (Art) Veitas. Rob passed surrounded by his family, who will hold a private memorial service to honor him this summer.
