SCHULTZ, Robert Frederick - age 77, of Holly, passed away October 20, 2022. Visitation will be held 2 PM - 6 PM Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel., 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. The burial service will be held 10 AM Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, MI 48442. Robert was born February 19, 1945 in Pontiac, the son of Louis Frederick and Barbara Ann (Housh) Schultz. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Navy SeaBees. He was a Pipe Fitter at General Motors for 44 years. Robert loved flowers, plants and was a Master Gardener who took great pride in his beautiful yard. He enjoyed an ice cold beer and his tractor, which brought him great joy. Most of all, Robert loved his family and his precious dog, Agnes. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Cathryn M. Mertz; 3 children, Holli Victory, Robert F. Schultz, Jr., and wife, Heidi Lewicki and Veronica and husband, Andrew Lengyel; 11 grandchildren, Ryan (Emily) Victory, Jessica (Alex) Gilbert, Shelby Lacy, Cody Gibbs, Chad Gibbs, Taylor Victory, Ellery Lengyel, Lena Jositas, Bobby Schultz, Jules Schultz, Valerie Lengyel. 6 great grandchildren, Alexis Glibert, Emily Gilbert, Rylee Gilbert, Brayden Victory, Ava Victory and Gemma Lacy.
