FRANK, Robert Lee  Age 63, of Durand, died Sunday, January 30, 2005 at Genesys Health Park as the result of an automobile accident. Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Thursday, February 3, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, Pastor Margo Kivisto officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Tuesday, 1-4 and 6-9 PM Wednesday. A VFW Auxiliary service will be held 7 PM Wednesday, followed by an O.E.S. Memorial Service, followed by a Masonic Memorial Service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Argentine United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society (for research.) Mr. Frank was born June 9, 1941 in Romeo, MI, the son of Ray E. and Berneice (Clausen) Frank. He had resided in Durand for many years coming from Detroit. He was married to Lois Charlene Skinner on October 31, 1975 in Argentine Township. He had been employed by Heat Treating Co. and then the Linden Community Schools. He was a member of the Argentine United Methodist Church. He was a member and past master of the  Linden Masonic Lodge #132; he was awarded Mason of the Year in 1994.   He was a member and past patron of the Linden O.E.S. # 175. He was very active and held many offices for the Eastern Star, Masons, and the church. He was a life member of the V.F.W. National Home in Eaton Rapids. He was a member of the Dads of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 271 and served as past Bingo Chairman, Chaplain,  and State District 5 Chaplain. Mr. Frank was an active golfer, fisherman, hunter, and was involved in various travel clubs. Surviving are: son, David of Clearwater, FL; daughter, Laura Ann Frank-Carter of Pinellas Park, FL; 2 step-sons, Lanny and wife Juanita Luchenbill of Tarboro, NC, Larry and wife Terry Luchenbill of Flushing; 3 brothers, Alvin and Linda of Holly, Jerry and wife Beverly of Tennessee, Dale and wife Glenda of Seney, MI; sister, Vivian and husband James Olney of Grand Blanc; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-sons, Douglas and Gregory Luchenbill; and his wife Lois died in the automobile accident with him.
