Robert C. 'Crash' Finks

FINKS, Robert C. 'Crash'- Age 57, of Linden, died Thursday, February 22, 2007 at his home.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 26, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1-4 and 6-9 PM Sunday.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Old Newsboys.  Mr. Finks was born December 25, 1949 in Flint, the son of Buryl and Mary (Stanbough) Finks.  He retired July 1, 2006 from GM Powertrain after 34 years of service.  He loved being with his family and friends, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, portraying Santa at Christmas, playing lotto, and going to the casino to play the slots.  He is survived by daughter, Angelica Finks (special friend Charles Bergeron); love of his life, Christine Finks; a second daughter, Brandy Lopez; 3 sisters, Teresa Johnson (husband Jerry), Teana Finks (special friend Mike Sova), Karen Cochrane (husband Bruce); 3 brothers, Delmar Finks, Danny Finks (wife Sarah), Jim Hall; many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Brenda Hall; and his 3rd wife, Lillian Finks.  Tributes and condolences may be shared with the family at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
