ELIASSEN, Robert J., Jr. -- Age 63, of Linden, died November 15, 2009 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday, November 19 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be 5-9 PM Wednesday, and 12 Noon until time of service Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Rob was born September 19, 1946 in Detroit the son of Robert J. and Edna (Terrian) Eliasson. Rob opened The Flame Restaurant in Fenton in 1973 and operated it until his retirement due to health reasons in 1988. He met his wife Jane at The Flame 33 years ago and they have been together ever since. Surviving are: wife Jane; children, Michelle (Mike) Hopson, Tony Borka; grandchildren, Amber (Brian), Loran, and Cody Hopson, Joey Borka; brothers and sisters, Jim (Cathy), Denny, Judy, Janet (Norm) Oscar; sisters-in-law, June and Twilla; and many nieces and nephews.
