Robert L. Dawson

DAWSON, Robert Laurence Sr., age 78, of Lapeer, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 6PM Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends 12PM Saturday until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Christian Family Church, Lapeer or Huntington's Disease Society of America. Robert was born March 11, 1929 in Flint the son of Ernest and Marguarite (Sanford) Dawson.  He married Doy Goodwin in Fenton on July 3, 1992. He was a loving husband and father who will be missed very much. Surviving are his wife, Doy; 4 children, Robert L. Dawson Jr. (Pamela) of Waterford, Stephen Dawson (Debra) of Toledo, Ohio, Vicki Rapaich (Steven) of Durand, Lisa Method of Waterford; stepson, David Hopkins (Kristina) of Lapeer; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Dawson (Jinx) of Lincoln, Nebraska.
