Robert Wicks CRUM

CRUM, Robert Wick, age 74, of Grand Blanc, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be 11:00AM Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 Holly Rd, Grand Blanc. Pastor Bill Northend will officiate. The family will receive friends 10:30AM Saturday until time of service at church. Robert was born November 16, 1937 in Youngstown, OH the son of the late Floyd and Alice (Wick) Crum. He married Madelyn Jullian on July 8, 1968 in Youngstown and she preceded him in death on February 25, 2001. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1956 to 1959 and he attended Youngstown University. He was employed by Packard Electric in Warren, Ohio. He then transferred to GM Buick Motor Division in 1973 where he worked as an Electrical Engineer until his retirement in 2003. Robert was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Grand Blanc and he enjoyed traveling, playing golf and eating out dinner often. Surviving are his sister, Barb Cappar and brother, William Crum and wife, Kathy all of Port St. Lucie, FL; companion, Janet Lakis of Grand Blanc; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ben Cappar. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint.
