Cole, Robert Lee - Age 75 of Fenton, died August 15, 2017. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Friday, August 18, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Visitation will be held 1-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Rd, Fenton and from 10 AM until the time of mass Friday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the St. John GIFT Campaign. Robert was born on September 12, 1941, the son of Everett and Helen (Brandemihl) Cole. He was a graduate of Western Michigan University. Mr. Cole was a member of Fenton Kiwanis, The Fenton XX Club, Fenton Rotary, Fenton Chamber of Commerce, Fenton Jaycees. He served on the Fenton DDA and was past president of Michigan Community Bankers. Surviving are wife Christine Cole; children, Annette (Cole) and Matt Murphy, James and Ann Cole, Michelle and Greg Cislo, Melissa (Cole) and James Forsythe, Clark Senter; 15 grandchildren, Wyatt, Jack, Sam and Joe Murphy, Travis and Troy Cole, Grant, Benjamin, Sydney, and Dutch Cislo, Sydney and Rachel Forsythe, Oliver, Francis, and Eliot Senter; brother, Dick and Susan Cole. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his in laws, Mel and Lucy Foguth. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
