Robert William Bock, Sr.

BOCK, Robert William, Sr. - age 90, of Linden, died Friday, May 30, 2008 at Argentine Care Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, June 2, 2008 at Hope Lutheran Church, 7355 Silver Lake Rd., Linden with Rev. Lawrence Eckart officiating. Interment will be held at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, MI. Visitation will be from 3-8 PM Saturday and Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St. Linden. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Genesys Hospice or Hope Lutheran Church. Mr. Bock was born February 26, 1918 in Highland Park, MI, the son of Frederick and Ethel (Young) Bock. He married Edna L. Qualmann on June 22, 1940. Mr. Bock was a veteran of the US Navy. He was employed by Beaumont Hospital for 15 years and was a self-employed interior decorator. Surviving are: wife, Edna; two sons, Robert W. Bock, Jr. and wife, Gloria, Daniel F. Bock and wife, Hideko; four grandchildren, Christine Brown, Karen Strother, Daniel Bock, Jr., Jason Bock; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ethel and Marian.
