BERNARD, Robert “Custom Bob” Dennis - Age 68, of Flint, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County, Owosso. A memorial service will take place at 10 AM, Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Chad Bernard will preside. The family will receive visitors from 2 PM to 8 PM, Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Home and again from 9 AM until the time of service at 10 AM Wednesday. Private interment will take place at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Hospice House of Shiawassee County.

Bob was born on September 4, 1954 in Flint, the son of Robert and Harriette (Wohlers) Bernard. He graduated from Adelphian Academy, Holly, Michigan. Bob worked as a master tile setter for Glenn’s Tile and Carpet for 45 years before his retirement. He was united in marriage to Judy Humphrey on April 19, 2012 in Flint. Bob loved life and will always be remembered for his “Custom” work and craftsmanship. He loved spending time with his family, the outdoors, fishing, traveling, watching sunsets, campfires and furry companion, his dog, Daisy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Judy Bernard; son, Robert M. (Beth) Bernard; mother, Harriette (John) Mason; brothers, Glenn (Rozann) and John Bernard; sisters, Jeanice Hall, Gina (Mitch) Brockriede and Julie (Mark) Herrick; sister's-in-law, Karen (John) West and Kay (Dave) Bueby; brother-in-law, Jim (Linda) Humphrey; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Bernard; and brother, Richard Bernard.
