Robert Baliko Sr.

BALIKO, Robert Eugene Sr. - age 82, of Swartz Creek, died, Sunday, December 8, 2019. Funeral service will take place 11 AM, Friday, December 13, 2019, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Paul Holland will officiate with burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will take place Thursday from 1 PM to 3 PM, 5 PM to 8 PM and Friday from 10 AM until the time of service. Robert was born on September 27, 1937, in Flint, the son of Stephen and Elizabeth (Gancsos) Baliko. He served in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged. Robert worked for General Motors for the Service Parts Department before he retired. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors sitting on his balcony at home, going up north to Tawas with the family and going to the casino. He was a Detroit Lions and U of M Football fan. He is survived by his two daughters, Kimberly Baliko and Sherry McIntyre; granddaughter, Kassandra Baliko; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Tinsley; son, Robert Baliko Jr.; parents, Stephen and Elizabeth Baliko; sister, Diane Money; and brother, Stephen Baliko Jr. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
