Robert Leonard BAKER

BAKER, Robert Leonard, age 69, of linden, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010. Funeral Services will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Fr. David Harvey Celebrant. Visitation will be 12:00p.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Robert was born November 27, 1940 in Detroit, the son of the late Thomas E. and Margaret C. (O'Byrne) Baker. He married Paula Hutchinson on April 30 , 1976 in Detroit. Robert enjoyed playing golf and listening to jazz music. He served his country in the army, and retired from the Sea Ray Boat Company with over 20 years service. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Paula of Linden; 4 children, Thomas (Carrie) Baker of Detroit, Julie (Jeff) Wohlfield of Sterling Heights, Pam (Jeff) Kossack of CA, Jeanne Bowser of FL; 2 grandchildren Janelle Bowser and Alex Briand; sister Kathy Baker of Warren, and dozens of loving neices, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by his son Lawrence White and 5 siblings.
