Robert Baker

BAKER, Robert "Bobby" Andrew - age 90, of Grand Blanc, died Monday, July 17, 2017. Services will be held 11 AM Friday, August 11, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Entombment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service Friday. Mr. Baker was born February 27, 1927 in Detroit, the son of Elbert M. and Mable (Olsen) Baker. He married Dorothy Erwin on July 24, 1945 and she preceded him in death on June 22, 2006. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Baker retired from Ford Motor Company as an Engineer and began his business as a manufacture's representative R. A. Baker and Associates. Surviving are: daughter, Patricia 'Tish" and husband, Jim Wiess; grandchildren, Derek (Chanda) Cavin and Jessica (Berto) Yoguez; great-grandchildren, Olivia Whitaker, Jeanette Cavin, and Glenn Cavin.
