Robert Charles Allen

ALLEN, Robert Charles  Age 59, of Fenton, died Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 AM Saturday, December 18, 2004 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Thursday, 2-5 & 7-9 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from 8:30 AM until the time of Mass Saturday at the church. A vigil service will be held 4 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Robert Allen Memorial Fund. Robert was born May 30, 1945 in Detroit, the son of John Vernon and Helen D. (Donovan) Allen. He was a graduate of Assumption Catholic High School in Windsor and attended Ferris State College. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam era. Mr. Allen was the vice president of I.V.C. Telecommunications, telecommunication of live medical procedures and business conferences operating out of Troy. Surviving are: wife, Bonnie Tischbein; daughter, Colleen (Joseph) Vergona of Canton; step-children, Marianne (Jerry) Spina of Trenton, Michelle (Donald) Neubeck of Clarkston, Heidi (Michael) Wood of Fenton, Kurt (Shannon) Tischbein of Flint; 15 grandchildren; mother, Helen Allen of Allen Park; sister, Maureen (Patrick) McParland of Allen Park; brother, Thomas (Donna) Allen of Vidalia, GA; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
