Robert Douglas AFFELDT

AFFELDT, Robert Douglas -- Age 64, of Fenton, died March 14, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. Private funeral services will be Wednesday, March 17 with interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be 3-7 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Affeldt was born January 22, 1946 the son of Ervin and Mary (Bradford) Affeldt. He married Elizabeth L. Horak on April 2, 1966. Mr. Affeldt retired from G.M. Metal Fabricating in 1985. Surviving are his wife Elizabeth; two children, Laura and husband Brett Fortney of Fenton, John Affeldt of Fenton; two grandchildren, Callie and Damon; five siblings, John and wife Pat Walsh, Helen and husband Fred Gross, Rebecca and husband Dale Cooney, Allan Affeldt, Marilyn and husband Bill Pender; many nieces and nephews.
