Rita M. Boyce

BOYCE, Rita M. (Burnash)  age 42, of Linden, died Friday, January 7, 2005 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Sunday and 1-4 and 6-9 PM Monday at the funeral home. Rita was born July 17, 1962 in Flint, the daughter of Charles and Marietta (Montgomery) Burnash. She married David Boyce on July 10, 2004. Rita was a 1980 graduate of Carmen High School and received an Associates Degree from Mott Community College. She was employed at HSS in Flint as an administrative office assistant. Rita loved gardening and cooking. Surviving are: husband, David Boyce of Linden; daughter, Krista Crites of Linden; two step-children, Chad and Sarah Boyce of Flint; eight siblings, Charlotte (Jack) Moorhouse of Flint, Charlene (Pat) OBrien of Sterling, VA, Laura (Marv) Townsend of Montrose, Ann Burnash, David (Spring) Burnash, Rick Burnash, all of Flint, Max (Darla) Burnash of Burton, James Burnash of Flint; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Lisa Lambert.
