Rita Beaty

BEATY, Rita Lucille, age 92, formerly of Fenton, died September 13,2007 at Brian's House in Bay City, Michigan. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 17, 2007 at the chapel of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St. Fenton, with Rev Father David Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Fenton. Visitation will be held 2-6PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, where a vigil service will be held at 5:30 PM. Mrs. Beaty was born February 15, 1915 in Fenton, the daughter of Celestial and Anastasia (Conklin) Lyons. She married Thomas E. Beaty on April 24, 1937. She retired after 40 years as an L.P.N. Lived most of her life in the Fenton and Durand area. She loved to play golf and enjoyed gardening. Surviving are: son, Thomas Beaty and wife Carol Sue of Stanwood, MI, daughter, Arlene Moran-Crandall and husband Ralph of Fort Myers, FL, son, Gary Beaty and wife Diane of East Tawas, MI; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Berry of Lansing. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas and parents. Contributions may be made to Brian's House of Bay City, MI.
