Ricky Lee VOORHIES

VOORHIES, Ricky Lee - Age 49, of Durand formerly of Fenton, died Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Memorial Health Care in Owosso. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 15, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with Pastor Dean Dumbrille officiating. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 12:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan. Ricky was born August 9, 1960 in Flint, the son of Richard Claude and Evelyn Dorothy (Glutsch) Voorhies. Surviving are: mother, Evelyn Voorhies of Durand; special niece and nephew, Roger and Wanda Voorhies and family of Bancroft; and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Voorhies and sister, Roseann D. Voorhies.
